Friends of Kingstone Green Belt is an informal community group of local residents in Kingstone, Barnsley. This page explains what personal information we hold, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are

Donations by card
Card donations are processed by Stripe, which collects your payment details on its own secure page. We never see or store your full card number. From Stripe we receive your name, your email address (so a receipt can be sent), the amount and the date. Stripe’s own privacy notice is at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
Donations by bank transfer
Our bank statement shows the name and reference you use when you pay. We use it only to record and acknowledge the donation.
If you email us or join the group
We keep your name and contact details so that we can reply and keep you informed about the campaign. We do not sell or share them, and we do not add you to any mailing list you have not asked to join.
Why we use it, and for how long
We use donation records to account properly for the campaign fund, and contact details to keep in touch with supporters. We keep financial records for as long as we need to for proper accounting, and delete contact details on request or when the campaign ends.
This website
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not identify you personally.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
